Developer/publisher Pocketpair has revealed three totally brand-new and never-before-seen Pals for its creature-catching survival game, Palworld, and they will hit the game in 2027 as part of a big update called Windy and Wavy. The new pals are named Eyebrowt (grass type), SoBecqua (water), and Bonpom (fire).

In a press release from Pocketpair, Eyebrowt is described as a Bean Chick Pal, SoBecqua as a Life Water Pal, and Bonpom as a Reheated Nachos Pal. The reveal trailer for this update shows all three of these Pals in quick flashes, holding all manner of guns, from glocks to AKs to M16s to RPGs and more – we even see Eyebrowt with a knife.

“Our new Windy and Wavy update will arrive in 2027, probably like a month or two after the release of Pokémon Winds and Waves on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027,” the press release reads. “In this update, we’re pretty sure we’re taking players to Southeast Asia to experience new adventures in the skies and seas alongside Eyebrowt, SoBecqua, and Bonpom. And we are excited to announce two new regional variants of Grizzbolt, Windybolt, and Wavybolt, too.”

When pressed for more details about this adventure, Pocketpair said, “You’ll just have to wait and see when the update arrives in 2027 because we have to wait and see about what to do when Pokémon Winds and Waves arrives in 2027, though we can’t stress this enough: our update has nothing to do with that game – we just thought it’d be cool to release our Southeast Asian pocket monster-collecting adventure around the same time as that one.”

While waiting for this Windy and Wavy update to Palworld, be sure to read about Pocketpair’s upcoming sim game, Palworld Palopia, and then check out our preview of Palworld Champions after that.
