It’s shaping up to be a packed year for Apple.

Just over two months into 2026, Cupertino has already refreshed several Macs, introduced new devices, and launched updated iPads. But if industry reports are accurate, many more products are still on the way before the year wraps up.

Below is a look at what Apple has already released this year and what could still arrive in the months ahead.

What Apple has already launched in 2026

Apple kicked off 2026 with a burst of hardware announcements in early March, refreshing several key devices and introducing a few new ones.

On March 2, Apple unveiled the iPhone 17e, the successor to last year’s budget-friendly model. The device finally includes MagSafe support, a feature conspicuously absent from its predecessor, along with an A19 chip and Ceramic Shield 2 for improved durability.

The same day, Apple refreshed the iPad Air with an M4 chip, available in both 11-inch and 13-inch sizes. According to reports, the tablet also gained the company’s new C1X modem and Wi-Fi 7 support.

But the biggest surprise came on March 3 and 4, when Apple introduced an entirely new product category: the MacBook Neo. The device is a low-cost laptop priced at $599, positioning it as an entry point for students and budget-conscious consumers. Alongside it, Apple also released M5 versions of the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, finally bringing the M5 chip to its laptop lineup.

The company also refreshed its displays with new versions of Studio Display and Studio Display XDR. Meanwhile, the long-awaited AirTag 2 debuted in January, four years after the original.

The products still on deck for 2026

Despite all the March releases, Apple’s 2026 roadmap still has plenty of room for more gadgets.

iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the Foldable

Apple’s fall launch event may bring some of the biggest hardware changes of the year.

The company is widely expected to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in September. Unlike previous cycles, Apple may skip the standard iPhone 18 in 2026 and instead launch it in early 2027 as part of a new staggered release strategy.

Alongside those models, Apple could unveil its first foldable smartphone, often referred to in the rumor mill as the iPhone Fold. The device is expected to feature a book-style design with both an outer display and a larger inner screen.

Mac Studio, Mac Mini, and a Touchscreen MacBook

While Apple has already refreshed several Mac models, more updates could arrive later in the year.

Industry reports suggest the company is preparing a new Mac Studio, likely arriving around mid-2026 with upgraded M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips. The compact desktop Mac mini could also receive a refresh with M5 and M5 Pro processors, though design changes are not expected.

Apple may also update the colorful all-in-one iMac with the same M5 chip later this year. These upgrades are expected to focus primarily on internal performance improvements rather than new hardware designs.

Another potential addition toward the end of the year is a high-end OLED MacBook, possibly introducing Apple’s first touchscreen Mac display.

iPads: Affordable and Mini

Apple’s entry-level tablet could also see an update. Reports indicate the company is developing a new low-cost iPad, possibly the 12th-generation iPad, which could use either an A18 or A19 chip to support Apple’s AI features.

Later in the year, Apple is also rumored to refresh the iPad mini. The device could switch from LCD to OLED display technology, a move that would significantly improve contrast and brightness compared with the current model.

Apple Watch Series 12

Come September, Apple will likely refresh its wearable lineup. The Apple Watch Series 12 is expected to arrive alongside the new iPhones, though rumors suggest it will be a modest update focused on internal improvements rather than design changes.

Advanced health features such as non-invasive blood glucose monitoring are still expected to be several years away.

AirPods Pro with cameras?

In one of the more unusual rumors, Apple is reportedly working on new AirPods Pro equipped with tiny infrared cameras designed to interact with Apple Intelligence. The feature could enable in-air gestures and improve functionality with the Vision Pro headset. Release timing is unclear, but September or October is likely, given Apple’s historical patterns.

The smart home push

The most ambitious new products on Apple’s 2026 roadmap fall into the smart home category. According to multiple sources, Apple is planning to significantly expand its presence in the connected home, with several new devices expected later this year.

The centerpiece appears to be a new smart home hub, sometimes referred to as “HomePad,” featuring a 7-inch display. It reportedly comes in two versions: one designed for wall mounting and another with a speaker base that resembles a HomePod mini.

Both the Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini are also expected to receive updates. These devices are expected to rely heavily on a revamped version of Siri, which Apple has promised for later this year.

Software updates arriving this summer

Before most of the new hardware arrives, Apple will preview its next software generation at its annual developer conference.

At the Worldwide Developers Conference in June, the company is expected to unveil iOS 27, macOS 27, iPadOS 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27. These updates typically launch publicly in September alongside new iPhones.

What we might not see this year

Don’t hold your breath for a new iPad Pro or the standard iPhone 18 this year. Apple is clearly spacing out its heavy hitters to ensure 2027 has its own highlights.

We are also unlikely to see a new Apple Watch SE or a major update to the Ultra this year, as Apple focuses on perfecting non-invasive blood glucose monitoring for future models.
