Nomad is adding a little shine to the Apple Watch.
The accessory maker has introduced a new version of its Stratos Apple Watch band, bringing a limited-edition Icy Blue Glow finish to its hybrid titanium design. The band keeps the same rugged-meets-refined formula Nomad is known for, but adds a soft glow-in-the-dark detail tucked between its metal links.
The Stratos Band blends two very different materials:
- On the outside, it uses Grade 4 titanium, known for its strength and lightweight.
- On the inside, Nomad pairs that metal with FKM rubber, a high-performance fluoroelastomer that sits against the wrist.
That combination is designed to solve a common problem with metal watch bands. Instead of feeling stiff and heavy, the FKM material links each titanium piece, allowing the band to flex as the wrist moves. The result is a band that looks polished but feels closer to a sport strap during everyday wear.

While the Stratos Band works with Apple Watch Series 1 through 11, SE models, and Ultra 1–3, Nomad says it was built from the ground up with the Apple Watch Ultra in mind. Rounded titanium links and a matte finish are meant to blend cleanly with Apple’s titanium watch case.
The band weighs about 52 grams and fits wrist sizes ranging from 130mm to 200mm.
Colors, glow, and pricing
Alongside the new Icy Blue Glow version, the Stratos Band is available in Black, Ultra Orange, and Volt interior colors, paired with black or silver titanium hardware.
In daylight, the icy blue option appears almost white. In the dark, it produces a gentle glow that’s visible but restrained. Nomad explains that the glow works through photoluminescence, meaning it absorbs light and slowly releases it in darker conditions.

The new Icy Blue Glow Stratos Band is available now on Nomad’s official website for $189. This makes the limited-edition version slightly more expensive than the standard Black, Ultra Orange, and Volt colors, which retail for $179.
