Google and Kaggle have announced the return of their joint “5-Day AI Agents Intensive Course,” scheduled for June 15 to 19, 2026, with registration now open. The program follows an earlier run that, according to Google, drew more than 1.5 million learners.

The refreshed version introduces new instructors and updated materials, alongside a stronger emphasis on practical, real-world applications.

This year’s course headline act is vibe coding, a workflow in which natural language becomes the primary way developers interact with software systems. Instead of writing traditional code line by line, participants are taught to build AI agents using prompts, tools, and integrations.

Kaggle describes the course as one that “dives deeper into building powerful AI agents from foundational concepts to production-ready systems.”

Participants will explore how to create what the organizers call “10x agents” by connecting APIs, enabling tool use, and even coordinating multiple agents. The curriculum also covers memory, context handling, and system design, key components for building more advanced, autonomous AI systems.

A structured, hands-on learning experience

The program is structured as a five-day online intensive, blending theory with hands-on work. Each day introduces a different layer of agent development, starting from basic concepts and progressing toward deployment in production environments.

Kaggle explains that, “Each day combines conceptual deep dives with hands-on examples and practical guidance. By the end, you’ll be ready to design, build, and deploy robust agent systems — culminating in a capstone project that brings your ideas to life.”

Participants will complete daily assignments, join live discussions, and take part in livestream sessions featuring course contributors. A final capstone project allows learners to apply their knowledge, with top submissions earning recognition and rewards on the platform.

Why AI training matters now

As companies increasingly adopt AI systems, the demand for workers who understand how to build, evaluate, and deploy these tools is rising quickly.

Skills like working with AI agents, integrating APIs, and ensuring system security are becoming core requirements, not just for engineers, but for a wide range of roles. Training programs like this one aim to lower the barrier to entry. By focusing on natural language workflows, vibe coding could make software development more accessible to people without deep programming backgrounds.

The course is free to join and requires only accounts on Kaggle and Google AI Studio. While livestreams will be publicly available, some tools used during the training may be restricted based on location or eligibility.
