Amazon is in discussions with OpenAI to invest $10 billion in the company while supplying more of its AI chips and cloud computing services, according to The Financial Times. The deal would push OpenAI’s valuation over $500 billion but is likely to raise more questions about the company’s circular investment agreements involving chips and data centers. The two companies are also in talks about the possibility of OpenAI helping Amazon with its online marketplace, similar to deals it has made with Etsy, Shopify and Instacart. However, any agreement still wouldn’t allow Amazon to market OpenAI’s most advanced models on its developer…

Souness tells Man Utd they ‘sold their best player’ as one star ‘looks like he’s never been coached’
Liverpool legend Graeme Souness insists that Man Utd sold their best player 18 months ago while he disagrees with Paul Scholes about Kobbie Mainoo. The Red Devils had an awful first season under Ruben Amorim with the Portuguese guiding them to a 15th-placed finish in the Premier League and a Europa League final, which ended in defeat to trophy-shy Tottenham. Man Utd are having a better season in sixth position, although they are showing familiar inconsistencies with just seven wins in 16 Premier League matches. They are just six points ahead of 15th-placed Brentford and Souness thinks Man Utd are…

When Amazon’s latest Echo speakers arrived in October, a feature the company spent time hyping during its fall devices event was missing. Alexa Home Theater arrived in late November, allowing owners of a recent Fire TV device and either of the new Echo speakers the ability to use up to five units and an Echo Sub as a surround sound setup. The main selling point is that the underlying tech allows you to put the speakers wherever you want and Alexa Home Theater will handle the rest. A robust array of speakers is a considerable investment, though, and there are…
There has reportedly been a ‘total break’ between Leon Goretzka and Bayern Munich, as Tottenham are said to be one of the teams best placed to land the midfielder. Goretzka has rarely been one of the very first names on the teamsheet at Bayern. However, currently his role is lesser than he’d like it to be. After playing just 26 times in the Bundesliga last season, he’s played 13 league games so far this term, with 11 coming from the start. Having been subbed off against Mainz in the last league game, Fichajes reports his reaction was telling, as the…

Liverpool are preparing a summer offer for Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams as they look to bring in a successor to Mohamed Salah, according to reports. The Reds have had a disappointing season by their standards with Arne Slot’s title-winning side failing to live up to the heights of last campaign. Liverpool have won just six of their last 17 matches in all competitions and have had the added stress of dealing with Salah’s outburst after their 3-3 draw against Leeds United earlier this month. Salah hit out at Liverpool and Slot for “throwing him under the bus” after starting…
