It won’t be for everyone. Indeed, if it doesn’t fare significantly better than its dismally performing predecessor, the DS 9, I might never see another one on the road. But that would be a great shame. Because while the oddly named DS No8 is hardly the most adventurously conceived of cars, it is wilfully individualistic to the point of esotericism, and what would the car world be without those heroic left-fielders valiantly championing the value of doing things differently? And, as a little bonus, it drives really nicely. Not especially quick, far less cushioned than its 1950s Citroën namesake and…
Image: Nathan Cima / Unsplash Just before Christmas, a massive digital tidal wave has knocked France’s national postal service and its banking arm sideways, leaving millions of people scrambling to track gifts and manage their holiday spending. France’s national postal operator, La Poste, confirmed on Monday (Dec. 22) that a cyber incident knocked large parts of its IT systems offline, disrupting postal deliveries and cutting access to key online and mobile services across the country. In a message posted on Facebook, La Poste described the situation as “a major network incident” that affected all of its information systems. The disruption…
Once again threat actors kept cyber pros on their toes in 2025 in a never-ending cat-and-mouse game. But amid the noise, there were some notable stories and incidents affecting household names in the UK – the likes of Marks & Spencer, Co-op, and Jaguar Land Rover – meaning that 2025 will undoubtedly live long in the memory. Here are Computer Weekly’s top cyber crime stories of 2025 Heralding a dominant narrative in 2025 – that of threat actors exploiting artificial intelligence (AI) models – at the start of the year, Google’s Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG) published new information revealing…
Antoine Semenyo’s potential transfer to Man City is set to have a knock-on effect that could see Tottenham and Aston Villa land top targets, according to reports. The Athletic‘s David Ornstein revealed on Tuesday that Semenyo, who has a £65m release clause, had decided that his ‘preference’ for a January transfer is Man City. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also issued a couple of updates on the situation with the Italian insisting Man City are ‘progressing to complete deal’ after deciding to ‘accelerate’ talks this week. Romano wrote on X on Tuesday: ‘Manchester City are progressing to complete deal for Antoine Semenyo…

Man Utd have ‘made contact’ to sign RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande after Man City won the race to sign Antoine Semenyo, according to reports. Semenyo had become a brilliant market opportunity for many clubs with the Bournemouth winger available in January for £65m, due to a release clause in his contract. But The Athletic‘s David Ornstein revealed on Tuesday that Semenyo’s ‘preference is to move to Manchester City in January’ after months of speculation. It is his ‘desire to win trophies’ that led him to the decision and on Man Utd, Ornstein added: ‘Manchester United also tried their best to…
Maximilian Chester’s 1990 BMW Z1 is not a keeper. “I would prefer one with a higher mileage because I want to drive and enjoy the car more,” he says. “For example, I’d have driven this one to the south of France a couple of times already but I’m reluctant to because much of its value is in its low mileage”. He’s got a point. His Z1 has done only 4000 miles, making it desirable to a collector. He says: “It was a French press car, which, surprisingly, doesn’t appear to have been used very much. It sold at auction with…

Liverpool’s frustration at the loss of Alexander Isak to injury is entirely understandable. That’s the only fair starting point, because frustration does sometimes make all of us irrational. So we get it. But the response of Liverpool-aligned pundits and journalists and their manager are at risk of sending football down a road where no good can come. Once you start measuring the unacceptability level of a tackle based on its outcome, you end up with a mess. Is Arne Slot right to be annoyed that he’s just lost a £125m footballer for the next few months? Absolutely. Is he right…
