What small objects around your house make you smile? A funny mug? A striped vase? A framed receipt? Here are 14 home jollifiers from MoMA Design Store, one of our all-time favorite shops…

How cute are these tea light houses? When candles burn inside, the windows glow, and you can see the light flickering on the wall, which feels especially cozy at night.

This Danish glass jug brightens up our coffee table. I like that it makes a regular afternoon snack feel like a beautiful moment, and I always pull it out when friends or relatives stop by.

This Kartell storage table somehow holds everything — magazines, toys, napkins, random odds and ends — while still looking chic and unfussy. Plus, the cherry red color makes me happy when I walk by.

Who knew a paper towel holder could have so much personality? I always appreciate beautiful versions of regular things, especially when they’re on display in your house all the time.

These bookends feel like little sculptures that just happen to hold up books. Over the years, I’ve moved them around and stacked them in different ways — they’re fun to mix, match, and combine.
Plus, nine more lovely designs…
